    Heidi Janz

    CAT(c), CSCS, B.E.S.S.
    Certified Athletic Therapist, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist

    Heidi was born and raised in southern Manitoba. She completed her degree in Exercise and Sport Science at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg. Heidi completed her Athletic Therapy certification in December 2004. The following July 2005, she attempted and completed her Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification. After treating patients for 2 years, she decided to make the move to Barrie. Here, Heidi achieved a certificate in the manual therapy treatment technique of strain-counter strain.

    Heidi spent 2 years in the Manitoba Junior "A" Hockey League and 2 years with the Manitoba AAA Midget Hockey League. She has also worked at the Canadian Ringette Championships, Canadian U-20 Volleyball Championships, Western Canada Summer Games, Manitoba Summer Games and the Western Canada Sectional Synchornized Skating Competition. Heidi's special interests include gait analysis, preventive taping and bracing and athletic injuries.

                            
    Heidi also works part time with the Georgian College Athletic department - responsible for the Varsity Men's Rugby team.
