Yoga strengthens & stretches the muscles, calms the mind & helps us connect to our spirit/our inner voice. It focuses on improving postures to help benefit the spine & central nervous system. Yoga can provide the optimal environment for our body to heal itself & flourish. Yoga can be practiced by anyone at any age, whether healthy or recovering from an illness or injury (with a doctor’s consent). It can increase mobility & stamina leading to a better quality of life. Practicing yoga can help increase physical energy & mental clarity while decreasing stress & pain. The exercise & breathing techniques help bring the body back into its natural state of serenity & balance. Many students express that they sleep better & they have a more positive attitude which affects every aspect of their life.
