Doug has been in practice in Barrie since graduating from Western's physiotherapy program in 1973. His expertise in assessing and treating musculoskeletal conditions allows him to address the complaints of the most complicated clients. He continues to lecture at the University of Toronto and assist in manual therapy, sports physiotherapy, and acupuncture courses across Canada.

Doug has been selected by his peers to be Chief Therapist for 3 World Student Summer Games, Canadian Team therapist for 3 Winter Olympics, the Pan-American Games, the Paralympic Games in 1996 (Atlanta), 2000 (Sydney) and was selected as Chief Therapist for the 2004 Athens Paralympics.
