Kerry graduated from the Physiotherapy program at the University of Western Ontario in 1995. Since then, he has continued his training through Sports Physiotherapy Canada as well as through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association's post-graduate syllabus courses in orthopedics.

In 2003 Kerry successfully completed a post-graduate Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy after accumulating years of on-field experience. He is certified in Acupuncture by the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada, and is a certified Sports First Aid Instructor with the Sport Alliance of Ontario. He works extensively with local rugby and football teams, both as a physiotherapist and coach.
